How much do I feed my dog?

Puppies

Method uses percentage of body weight to calculate the amount of grams per day of food.

Small breeds 6 to 8% of body weight

Medium breeds 5 to 7% of body weight

Large breeds 4 to 6% of body weight

Examples:

8kg medium breed puppy x 6% = 480g

This means 480 grams per day for this puppy, split over two or three meals.

10kg large breed puppy x 5% = 500g

This means 500 grams per day for this puppy, split over two or three meals.

Adults

Active lifestyle 4% of body weight

Less active lifestyle 2% of body weight
